Higher ark was born in Commanche county and calls it home. 

The Trail of Tears was not a journey.  It was a forced removal - carried out by policy, enforced by Soldiers, paid for with lives.  Thousands of Cherokees, Muscogee (Creek), Choctaw, Chickasaw, and Seminole people were driven from their homelands.  Many never arrived.  those who did were left to rebuild in what would become Oklahoma, carrying loss that didn't end when the march stopped.  This shirt isn't about imagery.  It's about acknowledging what happened here, and who was forced to carry it forward.
