Saint Longinus Vintage Washed Graphic Tee

Saint Longinus comes from the Christian tradition that gives a name to the Roman soldier associated with piercing Christ's side at the crucifixion. I was drawn to the contradiction inside the figure: violence, contact with the sacred and the possibility of transformation occupying the same story.

The piece keeps that tension intact rather than reducing Longinus to either villain or saint. The blood is both wound and revelation.
